The University City Fire Safe Council (UCFSC), is part of a California non-profit corporation, first formed as a project of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) in 1993.

We are a member of the California Fire Safe Council and act as the umbrella organization for the 41 locally-formed community Fire Safe Councils within San Diego County.
