National Forest Week July 13-19

The NFF is excited to celebrate National Forest Week from July 13-19 and we love your help to spread the word!

Firefighters in Action

Last year the National Forest Foundation launched the inaugural National Forest Week, celebrating our National Forest System across the country. The NFF is excited to celebrate National Forest Week from July 13-19 and we love your help to spread the word! Please join us in spreading awareness of our incredible 193-million-acre National Forest System and all it provides for the American public.

Will you help us celebrate? Please use the following link to download the full toolkit of social media messaging, graphics, and other resources to share during National Forest Week, July 13-19, 2020.

Along with sharing messaging with the hashtag #NationalForestWeek on social media, there are other ways you can get involved and celebrate with us.

Tune in for the virtual kick-off event on Monday, July 13 at 2 PM EST/11 AM PST. During the livestream celebration, you’ll hear from NFF President Mary Mitsos, the U.S. Forest Service, and other NFF partners and staff. Watch on the NFF’s Instagram, Youtube or at org. Submit a photo to or share the National Forest Week photo contest. Watch and engage with a virtual event. From an interpretive chat in the El Yunque National Rainforest to a gourmet s’mores cook along, there are several livestreamed events to choose from! Visit nationalforestweek.org for more information about the photo contest, virtual events, and more ways to get involved. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

Thank you!
